Position Description:


Responsible for the electrical design of wiring installations for aircraft. This includes wiring diagrams, cable assemblies, and cable installations. Will create drawings using Computer Aided Design and will provide liaison engineering support for procurement, manufacturing, installation and test functions for related designs.


Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS


Requires Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with seven (7) years aircraft design related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.)
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Electrical Design for avionics, electrical systems and components as well as wiring diagram preparation and interpretation.
Good computer skills, people skills and communication skills are desirable. Physical requirements of the job include periods of sitting at a workstation with keyboard usage and occasional walking to the production area.  May also involve climbing and crawling on the aircraft in confined areas to review and inspect modification areas.



Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
