Participates in several aspects of logistics contracts and manages broad-range of vendor interactions for product repair, spares, and software configuration tracking and management.  Additionally, individual selected will be responsible for coordinating program management activities to sustain and support multiple Systems Integration Labs (SILs).

Coordinates preparation of proposals, business plans, work statements, subcontracts, specifications, budgets and execution of effort.  Focused effort on administration and preventing negative product repair issues while acting as primary customer representative for assigned vendor activities.  Participates in program review sessions with customer, vendors and senior leaders to discuss problem identification, requirements, status, cost, schedule, and technical performance.


Job Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

Position requires a wide-range of disciplines.  Expectations of covering targeted set of sub-contracts with external vendors.  Coordinates with Program Managers for contract inputs and execution.  Establishes milestones and monitors mechanisms to identify and resolve repair issues.  Creates solutions and directs efforts to resolve issues.

Knowledge of product repair processes, experience working with subcontractors resolving process, contract and performance difficulties, and full understanding of logistics sustainment processes desired.  Communication skills are critical; briefings, program reviews, and interaction with customer, vendors, and senior leaders are routinely required.

Position will require travel estimated at 25-30%.

Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Active DoD Secret clearance strongly preferred.
